Client: Vivid Interactive & Doublestruck

 

Shortlisted for a BETT award (2004), flashyducks is a Vivid Interactive maths teachers’ resource created in partnership with Doublestruck. It’s aimed at KS1 (ages 5-7).

 

Developed in Flash running in a C++ shell, it can be delivered on standalone systems, networks, through a browser or on an LEA intranet.

Suitable for individual pupils, groups, or for teacher-led lessons using an interactive whiteboard or computer suite, the flashyducks maths teachers’ resource has:

 

• over 200 questions based on QCA assessment material and learning resources supporting key aspects of the KS1 curriculum
  
• questions and resources which can be sorted by National Curriculum ATs and by NNS objective
  
• the ability to mark questions and print a bespoke pupil report
  
• a unique children's disk so teachers can send specific work home with pupils
